PTFF ISLAND & PENINSULA SHORT SCREENPLAY COMPETITION
Port Townsend Film Festival has been called “Sundance by the Sea” for outstanding programming, legendary hospitality, and strong support for filmmakers. Situated in a charming yet sophisticated Victorian village two hours from Seattle, PTFF is a destination festival.
In 2024 we launched this short screenplay competition to highlight our commitment to making the Port Townsend region a place where filmmakers are nurtured, thrive, and grow.
The winning script will receive:
Full production by a team of experienced filmmakers in 2026
Inclusion in the 2026 Port Townsend Film Festival line-up

Submissions Open: December 15, 2025
Final Deadline (deadline extended): February 15, 2025
Festival date: September 18-21, 2025
