Jefferson County Filmmaker Collective
Gathering together outside, sometimes around a fire as the original storytellers must have done, intrepid filmmakers from the PT area began meeting during the pandemic. Jessica Plumb and Gabe Van Lelyveld brought people together with a desire to support, nurture, and build the local filmmaking community in any way possible. It was only a matter of time before the group joined forces with PTFF.
Now, a monthly meeting of filmmakers of all stripes will convene at the Port Townsend Film Festival Office to share work, identify best practices, and collectively problem solve for the benefit of all. If you are actively involved in filmmaking (or planning to start soon) this is the group for you. The initial meeting brought people from throughout the Peninsula with varying degrees of experience from veteran to newbie.
